Prometeo Secures $13M Series A Funding to Expand Fintech Solutions in Latin America

Montevideo, Uruguay, January 9, 2024—Prometeo, a leading fintech infrastructure company connecting global corporations with Latin American financial institutions, announced today a $13 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Antler Elevate, with participation from PayPal Ventures, Samsung Next, DN Capital partners, and existing backers Cometa and Magma Partners.

The funding will be used to expand Prometeo’s multi-banking data and payments offerings across the region. Prometeo’s platform provides a single, unified API that enables access to bank information and payments from over 283 financial institutions in 10 Latin American countries. This infrastructure simplifies, accelerates, and secures financial operations for global clients, reducing costs and operational friction.
